YAVIQ ("we," "our," or "us") is a token optimization and context compression platform operated by YAVIQ LAB PVT LTD, a company incorporated in India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.

We are committed to transparency and protecting your privacy. This policy applies to all users of YAVIQ's services, including our API, dashboard, and SDKs.

Information We Collect

Account Information

  • Email address (when you sign up via OAuth or email)
  • OAuth provider information (Google, GitHub) - name and profile picture
  • Account preferences and settings

Usage Metadata

  • Number of API requests made
  • Token counts (original and optimized)
  • Compression metrics and savings percentages
  • API endpoint usage patterns
  • Error logs and debugging information

Input Data (Temporary Processing)

When you send data to YAVIQ for optimization, we process it temporarily to:

  • Compress and optimize your prompts, structured data, or chat history
  • Generate optimization metrics
  • Debug issues (if errors occur)

Important: By default, we do not store your input data permanently. Processing is ephemeral unless you explicitly enable logging for debugging purposes.

What We Do NOT Collect

  • ✓We do NOT train AI models on your data. Your inputs are never used to improve or train any machine learning models.
  • ✓We do NOT resell your data to third parties. Your data is yours.
  • ✓We do NOT store LLM API keys permanently. If you provide LLM keys for our optimize-and-run feature, they are used only for the specific request and not stored.
  • ✓We do NOT access your LLM provider accounts beyond what's necessary for optimization requests.

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information for the following purposes:

  • Service Delivery: To optimize your prompts, compress structured data, and provide token savings metrics
  • Analytics: To show you usage statistics, savings reports, and performance metrics in your dashboard
  • Debugging: To identify and fix issues when errors occur (with your explicit consent for logging)
  • Account Management: To manage your account, authenticate requests, and provide customer support
  • Service Improvement: To improve our optimization algorithms and platform performance (using aggregated, anonymized data only)

Data Storage & Retention

Temporary Processing

Input data sent to YAVIQ is processed in memory and typically discarded immediately after optimization. We do not maintain persistent storage of your optimization inputs unless you explicitly enable logging.

Limited Logs

We may retain limited logs for:

  • API request metadata (endpoint, timestamp, token counts) - retained for up to 90 days
  • Error logs for debugging - retained for up to 30 days
  • Account information - retained while your account is active

Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at privacy@yaviq.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Third-Party Services

LLM Providers

When you use YAVIQ's optimize-and-run feature, we may route requests to third-party LLM providers (OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude) on your behalf. These providers have their own privacy policies. We do not share your data with LLM providers beyond what's necessary for the optimization request.

Hosting & Infrastructure

We use cloud hosting providers to operate our services. These providers may process your data as part of their services, but they are contractually obligated to protect your data and cannot use it for their own purposes.

Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data:

  • Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for all API requests
  • Encryption at rest for stored data
  • Access controls and authentication for our systems
  • Regular security reviews and updates

Note: While we take security seriously, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to protecting your data to the best of our ability.
